Halloween

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, only second to Christmas. My Mom always decorated the house for the trick-or-treaters. She would hang ghosts from the trees, play spooky music, and dress up like a witch to answer the door. She used a rope to answer the door, so it would look like it opened by itself. My childhood friends still tell me how great the Ferranti house looked on Halloween when we were growing up.

It always takes me forever to decide what to be on Halloween. I usually start thinking about it on November 1 each year. I have made most of my costumes over the years. The best one I think is the lion costume I made for Dominick, his first Halloween.
